The final evaluation of measures used in the identification process demonstrates their relative suitability for corpus-driven identification of dictionary-relevant formulaic expressions, with their precision varying in relation to corpus size and length of sequences under investigation.-Orally administered SYN-020 observed to be well tolerated across all doses in healthy volunteers. Despite its semantic heterogeneity, the resulting list illustrates the distinct characteristics of formulaic multi-word expressions, such as high frequency of usage, prevalent inclusion of grammatical words and common non-propositional meaning, especially in speech, where research revealed numerous understudied formulaic expressions related to interaction management and mitigation. The sequences were identified using a semi-automatic approach, whereby the most frequently recurring word combinations in each corpus were ranked according to their statistical salience and manually inspected for formulaic expressions with lexicographic relevance. In view of the pervasiveness of formulaic language in human communication and the growing awareness of its relevance to modern lexicography, this study presents a corpus-driven identification, analysis and comparison of dictionary-relevant formulaic sequences in reference corpora of written and spoken Slovenian. Both scenarios are examples of an effective postprocessing method for an automatically generated language resource and demonstrate that crowdsourcing can play an important role in smart lexicography, especially in the case of less-resourced languages. The first is a targeted annotation campaign aimed at evaluating multi-word synonym candidates in the Thesaurus, and the second is an analysis of user votes provided directly in the Thesaurus interface. In the paper, we present two crowdsourcing activities aimed at cleaning up the database. As an automatically generated language resource, however, the initial database of the Thesaurus includes a certain degree of noise. The Thesaurus was initially compiled entirely automatically and allows users to contribute toward improving the resource by adding suggestions for missing synonyms and/or by evaluating both the synonym candidates from the initial database as well as the suggestions added by other users. The Thesaurus of Modern Slovene is the largest open-source digital collection of Slovene synonyms, published in March 2018 by the Centre of Language Resources and Technologies of the University of Ljubljana. The paper concludes by outlining future plans, including further developments of the game both on the level of game modules and languages offered, in the framework of European projects and initiatives. Crowdsourcing aspects of the game are discussed, especially in terms of the lessons learned in the development process, and how one needs to strike a good balance between the lexicographic intentions, numerous possibilities of using language information, and the enjoyment and motivation of playing the game. A significant part of the paper is dedicated to the presentation of all the steps of the preparation of both datasets this included addressing challenges brought by automatically extracted data from the corpus, and filtering out sensitive content considering the potential users. We provide a brief history of the game, and introduce its two modules that utilize collocation and synonym data respectively. The paper presents the "Game of Words" (in Slovene: Igra besed), a mobile application purposed for a gamified improvement of two automatically compiled dictionaries for Slovene: the Collocations Dictionary of Modern Slovene and the Thesaurus of Modern Slovene.
